Christy Bellinger is an insurance industry professional with over 15 years of experience in the areas of claims management, policy interpretation and coverage analysis.
As a life-long learner, Christy has taken her passion for the industry and personal experiences and transitioned to encourage others to pursue insurance as an area of educational interest and career possibilities. She is served as the Insurance minor program coordinator and an adjunct instructor of business and insurance at William Penn University until 2019. She has also instructed at the adjunct-level for Drake University. Previously, she held claims, customer service, and training positions with two regional insurance carriers and a hometown agency.
Christy attained her Bachelor of Arts in Business with honors and went on to complete her Masters of Business Leadership through the College for Working Adults program at William Penn University. She has also undergone extensive leadership training with a focus on both profit and not-for-profit management as well as insurance-specific training and education. Christy has multiple insurance designations including the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
Christy lives in rural central Iowa with her husband and two children.
