Hello, I am Brandi Brecht, and I am proud to say I am your partner at Community Educators!
For the past two years, I have been helping to improve operations and drive company growth as the Executive Director and Managing Partner for Community Educators.
I was born and raised in a small town in Northeast Iowa – Spillville. If you are familiar with this Czech town, then you know it is own as the home of the “Bily Clocks”; very ornate clocks built by Frank and Joseph Bily, two bachelor farmers that had a great talent for carving clocks out of different woods native to NE Iowa.
I attended college in Iowa and graduated with honors in Business and Human Resource Management. After college, I accepted a position in the retail world and stayed there for a short time until I found out that I was going to be a mother.
My husband and I have three boys – Nick, Jace, and Zach. I spent most of the time when the boys were younger working in non-profit and real estate, which was great for a mother that was very busy with all the sports my boys played. Now, we are almost empty nesters.
In 2018, after being nudged by a friend, I applied for the Executive Director position at Community Educators. I guess the rest is history, as the saying goes.
Since coming on board with Community Educators, my main areas of focus have been improving the customer experience for our insurance and financial services professionals and enhancing the online platform. I believe that we are guided by our customers and their wants and needs, something several companies don’t think anymore.
I want our Continuing Education customers to know that when they come to us, they will be taken care of every time. I am continually trying to enhance features for better customer experience, so check back and soon for the additions made.
My husband, Mike, is a 32-year veteran of the Iowa National Guard, and I live in the Dubuque area. We love to go camping, biking, and travel abroad when we have time.
We also have two very spoiled dogs, a Springer Spaniel named Boone and a Sheltie named Ariel.
