This course will discuss types of insurance fraud which occurs not only by the general public but by insurance companies as well. Types of insurance fraud as well as statistics for auto, health, home, worker’s compensation and insurance company fraud will be discussed as well as the financial impact fraud causes. Fraud is constantly evolving and affects all types of insurance. The most common frauds, their frequency and costs will be our focus. We will review interesting real fraud cases and develop a discussion around each case.
