Course Objective:
As we age the topic of Long-Term Care (LTC) becomes more and more important for everyone. This class was created for producers who must meet the ongoing 4-hour training requirement to offer long-term care insurance. Within the course we will explore the history of LTC, LTC options, policies and limitations of choices for funding an LTC plan. We will also examine Qualified Longterm care as it relates to state partnerships. Lastly we will review suitability and ethics as part of this course.
This course is specifically designed to meet the continuing education requirement for licensed producers who have completed the initial 8-hour long-term care training program.
